The Details that Make a Superior Control Panel

Nameplates and engraving are a small piece of the panel, but at UCEC we believe the different is in the details.

Our shop is equipped with state-of-the-art engraving software and machinery. Phenolic nameplates are a staple of every panel cabinet. They’re made by mechanically cutting away the top layer of the nameplate, exposing the contrasting color of the next layer. Phenolic engraving creates permanent layering that can’t be rubbed off, making them ideal for control panels regardless of the environment they’ll be installed in.

Our software not only allows us to be more efficient in our engraving and lettering, but also scan images into the software to create nameplates with customer logos. The customization of a nameplate echoes a UCEC panel itself: unique, handcrafted and entirely one-of-a-kind.
