For the sixth year, Community First Foundation and FirstBank are partnering to present Colorado Gives Day on Tuesday, December 8, 2015. Colorado Gives Day is an annual statewide movement to celebrate and increase philanthropy in Colorado through online giving.
This year, UCEC has donated to the following organizations:
Most of us in the panel business are used to being part of an industry that produces products that are used everywhere but largely unknown to the general public. Just like any specialty niche, we have a lot of industry jargon and product terms that we all know but people outside the industry don’t.
One major focus for UCEC is to prevent component and system downtime within the panel. The root cause of failures are primarily linked to heat exposure and/or moisture. These electronic failures happen when the panel and its components are exposed to elements they were not designed to be in.
Another project leaves the UCEC shop this week. This electrical control panel project is headed to a beverage plant in Florida.
If you are a UCEC customer, you probably know about UCEC's "open door" policy. It's the real deal. We absolutely want our customers to visit their projects whenever they wish. Feel free to stop by with little fanfare. The shop door is always open!
We enjoy learning here at UCEC. If you follow our blog regularly, you know that we travel to trade shows; travel to classes; and invite in teachers we can learn from on a regular basis.
The Denver Metro region felt the wrath of an epic May hailstorm Monday. Rivers of ice ran in the streets, while our cars, trucks and plants took a beating.
But inside the UCEC shop? Our projects were safe, sound and ready to be shipped out. Here are a few snaps of panels shipping out on their way to an oil and gas company in Denver.
We're fond of keeping up with the latest technology. What do you think of our new tech in the shop?
In our ongoing efforts to utilize new technology, UCEC has recently started piloting a project management tool to track our jobs from start to finish. We found an amazing tool and have introduced it to our various teams.
As regular readers of our blog know, we're always carefully packing up and shipping panels out to our customers worldwide.
