Editor’s note: From time to time, we feature valued business partners and vendors on the UCEC blog. Today, we’re pleased to introduce you to EPC Energy Services.
By Mark Inboden
UCEC is proud to have a great professional relationship with EPC Energy Services. Based in Greenwood Village, CO, EPC provides engineering, design, construction and technology solutions for clients in various industries, including the energy sector: oil and gas; solar; and off-grid power.
As a full-service engineering firm, EPC works with UCEC to provide quality designed panel systems for all of their clients’ needs. Our two firms always collaborate very well, so I reached out to EPC to understand their culture more in-depth. Roger Gottula, one of EPC’s Principal Project Managers, supplied me with some of EPC’s brand values and they resonated with me. EPC uses these values to constantly redefine what it means to deliver the best product.
One of EPC’s core philosophies is to provide superior results for clients while maintaining an employee-driven culture. This message is clear in my dealings with EPC. The executive team and everyone working there has clearly built a culture that is passionate about evolving engineering services. For instance, although their primary services are engineering and consulting, EPC is making inroads with emerging technologies such as Ground Penetrating Radar and 3D Laser/LiDAR Scanning; and CAS 100, a hydrocarbon absorption polymer which quickly absorbs oil spills on contact.
You may have read some of my blog posts about the UCEC team and how they matter very much to me. From training opportunities with new technology to career advancement opportunities to just having fun together, I know that when the right people are on board, the opportunities are endless. EPC strikes me as an engineering firm with the right people in place to lead an evolution in engineering services. I’m personally glad that UCEC plays a part in that evolution.
